This is the Special Edition Darth Maul single hilt lightsaber based off Darth Maul's first lightsaber design in Episode I with nods to the one seen in The Clone Wars season 7.
Compared to the Episode I model, this one has more screen accurate proportions (much thinner), the controls are hidden beneath the actual hilt buttons and the charging ports are not visible on the hilt. It also features the same saber coupler as the one used on the Clone Wars s7 and the pommel (detachable) is a piece that's also part of the Clone Wars s7 saber.
VHC : this saber has an integrated coupler but it can also accommodate our VHC male coupler. This coupler is smaller and provides more screen accuracy to the Darth Maul double bladed saber if you ever wish to. There needs to be a coupler with drilled holes on this saber to allow for the sound to come out from the core, unfortunately limiting the options in respect to perfect screen accuracy in the junction of the two hilts.
IMPORTANT : this lightsaber is sold as ONE hilt, so if you already have the Clone Wars s7 saber you can make the double blade staff with just this hilt. If you want the full double bladed lightsaber please select the SET OF 2. You'll receive two of those hilts and blades and after removing the pommel pieces and one of the coupler you'll be able to join them into a staff.
Like all of our amazing sabers, this hilt is made of aluminium 6063. Every saber boasts stunning finishes on a great build with strong materials to offer either the best reproduction of a legendary design or a very comfortable and yet stylish dueling weapon.
