This new quick release coupler is an ABSOLUTE MUST. With it you can join two saber hilts in just a click. And also de-couple them in just a click. This accessory is a VHC compatible item.
The VHC system is a standardized thread size for many of our Dueling sabers. This coupler is built to fit the VHC threads only.
If you have two of our dueling sabers that you want to connect to each other, you can screw in both parts of this coupler to both hilts. Then in a click they'll connect to each other. Simply pull the middle part to release the coupling mechanism and push the two parts into each other. Same thing for releasing. Both sides are female threads, with a standard VHC sized thread compatible with most of our dueling sabers.
Important : this item is indicated for light dueling and staff spinning. We do not recommend heavy dueling with it as it may wear out and the bearings could fail over time. This item has been designed at the request of many customers, mainly with cosplaying and spinning in mind. Also the sabers will not always align with each other as the coupler works with a ball bearing, so it spins as you can see in the video.
